Marske ASB Dispersal Order

Over the past couple of weekends, we have received several calls from concerned residents of Marske in relation to vehicles accessing the beach from the slipway at the end of the High Street, driving along the beach and using the beach as a parking area. It is an offence for Unauthorised vehicles to drive or park on the beach in the Redcar and Cleveland area.

 We have also received several complaints regarding youths congregating in the Valley Gardens, causing a nuisance, drinking alcohol and damaging some of the street furniture in this area.

The local ward officers have been carrying out patrols in the area and will continue to do so.

Due to the concerns raised to us we have put a dispersal order in place starting from Friday 11th July at 18:00hrs which will run until Sunday 13th July 17:59hrs. The area covered by the dispersal order will cover from the A1085 (High Street), St Germains Lane up to the The headlands. This area includes the Valley Gardens and the slipway onto the beach and includes areas of the beach.
